Chapters of KDP have a unique opportunity for celebrating the events of the Society’s Centennial. The ways you can honor the tradition of Kappa Delta Pi on your campus are limitless! Spark your celebration ideas with one or more of the following examples:

Host an event for all KDP alumni of your chapter.
Commit to 100 hours of community service to an agency in your community.
Invite retired teachers or professors to discuss their experiences in education.
Provide members with 100 tips about classroom management or lesson planning.
Sponsor a Teacher Leader conference for all students in your college or department of education.
Facilitate a poster session for your campus on historical leaders in education.
Through November 2011, chapters are encouraged to find ways to celebrate the 100 years of the Society’s existence on college campuses and professional communities throughout the world.  As you recognize and honor KDP and its influence in the field of education, please submit pictures and stories of the programs or events you host. We would love to see how you choose to celebrate!
