of Kappa Delta Pi’s first 100 years and in preparation for the Society’s second century, the KDP Educational Foundation’s Centennial Campaign seeks to sustain KDP’s continued commitment to scholarship and excellence in education.
Our aspiration to by the end of the Centennial celebration, November 2011, is an ambitious, but achievable goal. The Campaign Steering Committee knows that success is dependent on the broadest possible participation from our members, friends, and volunteer leaders. Your contribution is a critical component of the Campaign. Together, we can —an indelible imprint on the next 100 years for our profession and future educators.
This is an opportunity for all of us to to Kappa Delta Pi and the ideals of recognizing excellence and advancing the art of teaching. The success of the 21st Century Centennial Campaign will ensure that generations to come will enjoy the privilege of KDP membership and lasting support throughout their career.
The challenges that face today’s educators are vastly different from those of educators in 1911. Over the next century, the world will continue to change, education will continue to transform, and what it means to be educator will continue to evolve. No matter what challenges lie ahead, to assist the best and brightest educators to assume their place in the profession. |
