Russell Call is appointed Editor of the Kappa Delta Pi Record.

The Kappa Delta Pi Educational Foundation is established in July with Richard L. Judd elected Chairman of the Board.
Ronald C. Green is appointed first Business Manager of the Society.

1981
First international chapter is installed at the University of Calgary on October 28.

1982
Gerald Ponder is appointed Editor of the Kappa Delta Pi Record.
The Scroll & Stylus newsletter is authorized with Ronald C. Green as Editor.

1984
Kaoru Yamamoto is appointed Editor of The Educational Forum.
The first Convocation outside the United States is held in Montreal, Canada, in April.

1987
Kenneth N. Mele is appointed first Field Representative.
