William Sterrett joined the faculty of the University of North Carolina Wilmington after serving as a principal from 2006–2010 in Charlottesville, Virginia. Sterrett, who also served previously as an assistant principal, upper elementary teacher, and middle school science teacher, was a 2008 recipient of the Milken National Educator award as a principal and began chairing the newly-formed KDP Public Policy Committee in 2010. Marcelo De Stefano Dr. Marcelo De Stefano is the Director of School-Based Health Centers, Dental Clinics, and Health Insurance at the NYC Department of Education, providing health services for 1.1 million students. His extensive international experience in educational administration, project management, and teaching includes five years in Argentina working for the State of Santa Fe and National Ministry of Education. Dr. De Stefano holds multiple advanced degrees from universities in the U.S., Spain, and Argentina, and his research interests are leadership, policy development, and school effectiveness. Dr. Raymond J. Dagenais Raymond J. Dagenais is a former physics and mathematics high school teacher who also has worked as a Research Associate at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory. His 42 years of service to education include 24 years of teaching mathematics, physics and astronomy at the secondary level.  He currently serves as a curriculum and professional development specialist at the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy in Aurora, Illinois, and adjunct professor in Aurora University’s Teacher Leadership program. Anna Shultz Anna Shults is Literacy Specialist at the Indiana Department of Education. Her role involves designing and implementing statewide literacy initiatives for Indiana's elementary population. Ms. Shults was named the Indiana Teacher of the Year in 2007, an honor she earned as a 12-year third grade teacher at Fall Creek Elementary in Hamilton Southeastern Schools.  
Marcia Bolton, Ed.D, Assistant Professor at Widener University, Chester PA, serves as the Director of Student Teacher and Intern Programs. Dr. Bolton’s involvement in all aspects of university life includes traveling with students during spring breaks to build homes for Habitat for Humanity. In addition to director duties, Dr. Bolton teaches classes in early education, reading, and teacher education methods classes for early education and middle school levels. Her research focuses on improving teacher preparation.
Corey Hall Corey Hall is a doctoral candidate at Northcentral University and an online instructor in education and technology. She teaches at Florida State College–Jacksonville, Indiana Wesleyan University, and Axia College. She also writes for Pearson Publishing, including ancillaries for several textbooks and the MyEducationLab Web site. Her previous teaching experience includes middle school mathematics, language arts, and science both in the United States and South Korea.
Dr. Cedric Bass is an Assistant Professor of English and Education at Winston–Salem State University in North Carolina. Dr. Bass teaches courses in literature, teaching research, and English education methods and serves as the Coordinator of the Secondary English Education Program. His research focuses on diversity, faculty and teacher retention, and teacher education preparation.

Nathan Bond, KDP President Dr. Nathan Bond, President of Kappa Delta Pi, is Associate Professor of Curriculum and Instruction at Texas State University–San Marcos where he has served as Counselor of the Eta Zeta Chapter for the last 12 years. His chapter received the Achieving Chapter Excellence award at KDP’s national Convocation in 2007 and again in 2009. Dr. Bond earned a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Baylor University, a master’s degree in Russian Literature from The University of Texas at Austin, and a PhD in Foreign Language Education from UT–Austin.   
Sandy Pope, Council Liaison
Alexander “Sandy” Pope, Council Liaison for Kappa Delta Pi, is pursuing his PhD in social studies education at Teachers College, Columbia University (NY) and is an instructor in Curriculum and Teaching at Hunter College, CUNY. He also studies how teachers promote civic engagement in their students. After joining Kappa Delta Pi in 2005, when he was a museum educator in Texas, Mr. Pope was elected to the Executive Council as a member-at-large in 2010. He hopes to influence KDP members to remain actively involved in decisions affecting education.

Faye Snodgress,
Staff Liaison, serves as Director of Kappa Delta Pi, with a mission of raising teachers and the field of education to a new level, along with helping educators recognize their abilities to empower themselves and others. Her passion for education and innovation are at the heart of her direction at Headquarters, along with the belief that advocacy plays a vital role in Society goals. A Certified Association Executive (CAE), Mrs. Snodgress has lived in Switzerland and France and worked in educational and worked in various business settings.
