Coming into a Leadership Position
All officers need to be elected, and all officers, no matter how knowledgeable about their positions, need to go through training/transition so they are aware of all that is expected of them in their new positions.

Chapters are not limited to having only the officers required in the chapter model or designated in the constitution. Listed below are some common officer positions that some KDP chapters have adopted. Current officers sometimes take on more than one officer role to fill areas of need within the chapter.

Chapter Committees
Committees play an essential role in ensuring the chapter’s health and growth. Effective use of committees can get all the regular members involved and participating, which creates a stronger bond to the chapter and its mission.
