Manage Your Chapter
Creating a Positive Chapter Experience for Community Colleges

TEAM=Together Everyone Achieves More
Kappa Delta Pi began forming chapters on community college campuses less than a year ago. Even after they may transfer to another campus or start their first job, many community college members opt to stay with their initiating chapter because of the strong, supportive experience they get. Involvement of all members from the get-go is the key to running a successful chapter on a community college campus.

Creating a positive chapter experience is as much about marketing the image of the Society and completing administrative tasks to stay in compliance with national requirements as it is about having fun. Detailed instructions that will help you manage your chapter more effectively and efficiently are provided here.

Chapters that exceed the standard of excellence in their particular chapter model are eligible for additional leadership opportunities and national award recognition.

If you have specific questions that are not addressed on the Web site, or you need more information or training assistance, please contact your Regional Chapter Coordinator.
KDP Headquarters
A chapter must communicate with KDP Headquarters as follows:
Each year, the chapter chooses a model to follow;
Chapter reports are due June 1, August 1, and October 1; and
The chapter reports any changes to chapter programming, changes in dues, and updates to its bylaws. (Chapter bylaws must reflect changes to the Society Constitution, which may be made every two years.)
