More than 40 percent of all educators start their coursework at the community college level. Because of this, Kappa Delta Pi is a perfect fit for any community college campus interested in providing professional opportunities beyond the classroom.

Currently, Kappa Delta Pi (KDP) has 18 Community College Chapters and 3 additional chapters at online universities. KDP is proud to participate annually in the NACCTEP conference.

Kappa Delta Pi works on a community college campus because:

students live and work in the area where they attend classes. KDP gives members a sense of connection with other students and the community college.

KDP chapters promote civic responsibility. Local educational professionals come to know about Kappa Delta Pi because of the service projects that members perform in the community.

Fund-raising works best in the communities where members live and work.

KDP membership builds community. Networking occurs with practicing professionals and members through service projects and professional development opportunities.
