Founders Day

We’re having a Birthday! KDP begins a new tradition of annually recognizing and celebrating its founding date to encourage members to reconnect with KDP and one another. On March 8, 2010, we celebrate our first annual Founder’s Day.

Founder’s Day is a time to reflect on the mission, purpose, and ideals upon which Kappa Delta Pi was founded. It is a time to celebrate and join in fellowship with Kadelpian colleagues and to highlight accomplishments of the Society as a whole, as well as in your local chapter.

The Society President published a special message to all members in the KDP Record, New Teacher Advocate and via e-mail that connects the present-day KDP with its ideals and values of the past. All members should wear Society items of recognition: badge, pin, clothing, or KDPcolors to honor the day.
