Fund-raising for this project was designed around the concept of a “National Make-Believe Day”. Members and nonmembers were offered the opportunity to NOT attend a dinner meeting by contributing $5. They could miss the cocktail party and the dinner by contributing $10 and, for $12 or more, they could skip the entire evening and get a special invitation to miss next year’s celebration as well. A flyer was designed and sent to members inviting them to the No-Show Dinner and Imaginary Speaker Series.

How To:
1. Create the flyer to be mailed to members.
2. Collect funds from members and nonmembers.
3. Contact community resources for additional funding.

Add a Twist:

•	Challenge all senior-level students in the senior corps to match the funds class-to-class.
