How To:
| 1. | Ask an area business to host the event and to provide the coupon books. |

| 3. | Set a fund-raising goal, either the amount of profit or number of books sold. |
| 4. | Establish time slots for members to volunteer. |
| 5. | Create flyers to advertise the event and promote the chapter; mail and post throughout the community. |
| 6. | Complete the event by having members sell the coupon books and promote the chapter during their designated time slots. |
Add a Twist:
| • | Ask businesses for donations if they are unable to offer the coupon books. |
| • | Have a chapter rally to promote the fund-raiser goals. |
| • | Obtain contact information for customers purchasing the books, and then advertise the chapter’s results of the event and how the profits were used to benefit the local community or teachers. |
Additional Details:
When the Gamma Pi Chapter sells 25 coupon books at $5 each, the chapter gets the total profit. The chapter receives a percentage of the store’s sales during the time slots if members sell more than that amount.
