How To:
1. Set a date and book a room for the event.
2. Ask various restaurants to get involved as food demonstrators, or to donate water and door prizes.
3. Charge restaurants $50 to participate.
4. Send articles to the newspaper and put flyers around town.
5. Print tickets for each member to sell before the event: adult tickets are $5; university and school students are $4; and children 12 and under are $3.
6. Decorate the room and help restaurants set up their booths on event day.
7. Hand out programs with participating restaurants’ addresses. People then “window shop” at each booth and sample the food.
8. Give restaurant gift certificates as door prizes.

Add a Twist:
Have themed nights for different times of the year.
Schedule the date around a high school football game so that more people will come.
Have participants vote for the “best of show.”
