| Chapters are not limited to having only the officers required in the chapter model or designated in the constitution. Listed below are some common officer positions that some KDP chapters have adopted. Current officers sometimes take on more than one officer role to fill areas of need within the chapter. |

| Committees play an essential role in ensuring the chapter’s health and growth. Effective use of committees offers opportunities to involve members, which creates a stronger bond to the chapter and its mission. In addition, active committee participation allows members to develop their leadership skills and knowledge of how the chapter operates. |
