Bring Back Inactive Members

Reach Out and Reconnect!

Meeting the needs of your members is an ongoing process.
Remember: A motivated member is an active, participating member.

As part of your plan to reclaim members, try to identify why your chapter members may have decided not to renew their membership. Here are the top reasons that members may decide to leave:
The chapter did not meet their expectations.
They did not feel like a part of the group.
There was little opportunity for input.
The chapter meetings or programs were not an effective use of time.
Examine your chapter programming and identify the areas that may need strengthening to meet the needs of all members. Make sure that you communicate the mission of Kappa Delta Pi AND your chapter goals. Get everyone involved in planning and implementing programs. Remind them of the international benefits and point out how your chapter impacts your community and its members.

Communication with Inactive Members

Renewing is the first steps to bring members back. Give them directions on how and information on why they need to come back.

Get Active

Incorporate these opportunities and activities to meet the needs of inactive members. Whether they have graduated or opted not to renew, reconnect with them and welcome them back to the chapter.
