Manage Your Chapter Constitution and Bylaws |
| As a way to maintain order and fairness, Kappa
Delta Pi adheres to rules and regulations set forth in the Society
Handbook, which contains the KDP International Constitution and Bylaws.
Each chapter has its own local Chapter Bylaws, which should be updated
every two years to remain current and reflect changes voted on during
the Society’s Biennial Convocation. At the local level, an important
aspect of the Chapter Bylaws is to set forth qualifications for inducting
new members. Another consideration is to establish a set of guidelines
for member participation so that the chapter is active and thriving;
these are usually referred to as Post Initiation
Incentive Programs (PIIP) and shouldbe added to the Chapter Bylaws. |
International Constitution and Bylaws |
| The Society’s Constitution and Bylaws govern how the Society
operates as a whole. These address areas such as the Laureate
Chapter, Executive Council, and Voting at Convocation. In addition,
they set forth guidelines for establishing new chapters as well
as financing the organization. You can find the Society’s Constitution
and Bylaws in the Society Handbook. Society Handbook |
