Manage Your Chapter Member Relations Recognizing and Rewarding Members |
| Kappa Delta Pi exists to recognize and honor excellence in education. Why not recognize members who are generous with their commitment and time to the chapter? Consider one of these ways to honor and reward members who put forth the extra effort. |
| Honor cords | |
| Recommendation letter from the Counselor or the Dean | |
| Scholarship set up through the KDP Educational Foundation | |
| Gift cards | |
| Books to help them begin building a classroom library | |
| Gold, silver, and bronze medals based on participation | |
| Certificate | |
| MVP award | |
| Ask them to serve as officers or on committees | |
| Send a thank you note |
| Another way to recognize members is to develop a Post-Initiation
Incentive Program (PIIP). A PIIP is designed to encourage participation and reward those involved in the chapter. Furthermore, member involvement and retention might increase with the utilization of a PIIP. |
