How to:

1.	Research resources in the metro area.
2.	Consider centers or institutions with teacher-related workshops and supplies for your classroom.
3.	Determine if KDP members will attend for free and if non-members will be charged a small fee.
4.	Compile field information packets.
5.	Send and retrieve permission slips, if necessary, for any minors attending.
6.	Contact transportation services.
7.	Complete the event.

Add a twist:

•	Consider a visit to the art museum, the historical society, a Learning Center, and/ or a Project Wild center;
•	Look for the resources in your community! Many museums and centers have programs for teachers.
