| • | At least 3 sample resumes for elementary, middle school, and high school positions |
How to:
| 1. | Choose who will chair this event and be the moderator during the event. |
| 2. | Contact a principal to attend to explain what catches his/her eye on a resume. |
| 3. | Contact an education professor to discuss “How to Put Together a Resume.” |
| 4. | Confirm panelist attendance and contact information. |
| 5. | Reserve a date and room for the event. |
| 6. | Market the event/send invitations. |
| 7. | Hold registration for the event. |
| 8. | Complete the event. End with a question and answer session. |
| 9. | Allow time for attendees to look through the sample resumes. |
| 10. | Ask for feedback about the event. |
Add a twist:
| • | Have refreshments after the event. |
| • | Videotape event for documentation of chapter history and Society media coverage. |
