Additional Details:
The University of Oklahoma Gamma Chapter hosted the 2004 Oklahoma State Teacher of the Year, Cindy Ball, as she presented a workshop entitled “Infusing the Arts into the Regular Curriculum.” More than 40 teacher education students participated in the hands-on workshop. They learned ways to use simple paper folding to display student projects, art techniques to help elementary students present their learning in a variety of formats, and many ideas for promoting learning across the curriculum through the arts.
