2010–2011 CHAPTER PHILANTHROPIC CHALLENGE
The KDP Educational Foundation is composed of volunteers who generously give their time and energies to provide our members and chapters with the resources they need to succeed. We are truly educators helping educators with:

• Scholarships for undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students
• Classroom Teacher grants – 100 in 2011!
• Literacy Alive! grants
• The KDP/ATE Student Teacher/Intern of the Year Award
• Professional development opportunities like Convocation 2011  

We invite your chapter to join us in making a difference by participating
in this year’s Chapter Challenge.

ACCEPT THE CHALLENGE
Each chapter is challenged to raise at least $150 toward a goal of $20,000 by May 12, 2011.

Your chapter’s contribution enables us to have the resources to continue investing in our members.

BE RECOGNIZED FOR YOUR PHILANTHROPY

Chapters that raise $150 1 will be acknowledged in the KDP Annual Report and in the Kappa Delta Pi Record, and will fulfill donation requirements for the ACE award application. 2 Every chapter member participating in a fund-raising event will receive a certificate of service. 3 Chapters that raise $250 or more receive all the above distinctions, plus a recognition plaque.

  1 Annual Fund donation
  2 Because ACE award applications are accepted only the year of Convocation, chapters are required to donate to the     Foundation in both the year of Convo as well as the prior year.
 3 A list of participants must be given to the KDP Foundation and approved by the chapter counselor.
