The Global Awareness Adventure will be my first international travel experience, and I am so excited as well as grateful. I am honored to represent Shippensburg's Epsilon Epsilon Chapter of Kappa Delta Pi. I know that during this experience, I will make memories that will last a lifetime, and it will also make me a better educator.

Recipients Headed to Berlin June 13–June 23

Most of this year’s EF Tours Scholarship recipients will be traveling together to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. Events are planned throughout the city of Alexanderplatz, and students will attend special panel discussions and interactive sessions. Students will begin their adventure by meeting in our nation’s capital to visit the Smithsonian museums and Washington monuments and landmarks such as the Arlington National Cemetery, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. Students will then travel to Berlin, where they will engage in a workshop to paint blocks used to recreate the Berlin Wall. They then will take a river cruise and visit a local school in Berlin. After that, students will visit Prague and the St. Vitus Cathedral, Golden Lane, and the Zwinger Museum. A walking tour of Munich and sightseeing in Lucerne are also scheduled.
