| KDP scholarships are available
to current, active undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degree-seeking
students. Applications cannot be accepted from nonmembers or inactive
members. In addition, Kappa Delta Pi sponsors the National Student Teacher/Intern of the Year Award Program in conjunction with the Association of Teacher Educators. Jenna Lachney, 2008 Sandra Jo Hornick Scholarship Recipient Joining Kappa Delta Pi was definitely one of my best decisions in college! Kappa Delta Pi has meant immense support from my local faculty and national headquarters, innumerable leadership and service opportunities, and unbeatable professional development through meetings, the Web site, publications, and Convocation.
