What is the iLead Conference? |
| Kappa Delta Pi iLead Conference is a new national event to help members learn to be better teacher-leaders. Offered as a two-day interactive institute for individual growth and development, it is also a chance to connect with other KDP members. Participants will take part in small and large group activities designed to help them learn about how transformational leadership works for educators and how to create and implement a vision. Members will learn practical leadership skills and increase their capacity for making a difference in the lives of their students, their school building, and education overall. |

| Who should attend? |
We are looking for active student chapter members – either undergraduate or graduate students. Malone College in Canton, OH was selected as the pilot site for the new conference because it was conveniently located for the most chapters in the Northeast Region. As a new conference and one that will spearhead the new KDP Leadership Initiative, it is important we try to get the most number of members to attend. More importantly, this is your chance to participate in a brand new national event! Our goal is to have 250 members participate in this event and we need your help to reach the goal. We need every chapter to help do their part in supporting the iLead Conference. This conference will set the standard for others that follow in other regions in the fall and for other events in the future. Please consider sending a delegation based on your chapter size:
If you have never been to a national event, this is one you shouldn’t miss! Plus you can earn incentives for your chapter just by attending – incentives will be given out for the most people per chapter, the farthest traveled, and much more! |
