Central Missouri State University
Rho Chapter

”By electing officers and shadowing officers who now assist with their ongoing goals and events, the chapter has truly set themselves up for success. As the Executive Committee continues to develop a supportive leadership structure, this chapter is determined to connect members with opportunities for recognition and professional reflection.”
      – Mike McBride, Chapter Resource Consultant

Here is a little of what the officers at CMSU have been doing:
Training new officers through shadowing for a smooth transition in leadership
Preparing three, new chapter scholarships for members
Networking with other KDP leaders at the recent Cluster Meeting at Columbia College, Missouri
Connecting with members via the Electronic Blackboard
Providing committees, such as Community Service and Professional Recognition, to expand the chapter experience
Serving the community through the annual Angel Tree program
Partnering with other campus organizations to boost professional development through workshops on classroom management and parent-teacher relationships
