Manuscript Submissions
The Educational Forum


We welcome your submissions to The Educational Forum. Please use the information on this page to guide you as you prepare your article for submission.

All manuscripts submitted should be original material and not previously published, nor should they be submitted simultaneously elsewhere for publication. Authors are responsible for making sure all quotations are accurate, obtaining permission to reproduce copyrighted material from other sources, and providing an agreement to assign all rights to copyright to Kappa Delta Pi.


Prepare Your Submission
Before submitting your article to The Educational Forum, please
Include an abstract of no more than 75 words at the beginning of your article
Create a separate file for your cover page, including your name, affiliation, preferred mailing address, and e-mail address. Please include contact information for all participating authors, and designate one person as the corresponding author.
Remove all author identifying information (name, university, e-mail address) to ensure anonymity in the review process.
Use a double-spaced, 8.5x11” document format with consecutively numbered pages.

Submit Your Manuscript
The Educational Forum partners with Routledge to provide a streamlined online submission and review process for our authors. Use the following simple steps to submit your manuscript to The Forum:
1. Go to http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/utef
2. In the New User box, click Register here
3. Enter your name and e-mail address
4. Follow the prompts on the screen to upload your files.

After you upload your article, you will receive e-mail confirmation of the receipt of your manuscript, and your article will begin making its way through our review process.

You will receive word on the publication status of your manuscript within six months. If you have questions during that time, feel free to e-mail the managing editor at kathy@kdp.org.


The Forum’s Publishing Process
The following steps explain what will happen to your manuscript after you submit it through The Educational Forum’s online manuscript submission process:
1. The managing editor receives notification of your submission.
2. Your article is assigned to four peer reviewers who specialize in the subject area your article represents.
3. After your article is reviewed, all review comments and the articles are reviewed by our Academic Editor.
4. The Academic Editor makes a decision for the publication of your article. You may receive notification of conditional acceptance, rejection, or an invitation to make revisions based on reviewer comments and resubmit.
