Distinguished Chapter Officer Award

Being a Kappa Delta Pi officer is not easy.  There are many responsibilities.  Among their various duties, chapter officers plan events, organize service projects, recruit new members, and complete reports.  The Distinguished Chapter Officer Award honors officers who set a positive example for the chapter by representing the ideals of KDP.
Award History
Each chapter can nominate one officer to apply for this award.
Award Information
Chapters must submit documentation to KDP Headquarters highlighting how the officer has demonstrated leadership and involvement in the chapter’s programs and activities.  The documentation must include a letter of support from the chapter’s counselor and a letter of support from a fellow officer.
Award Qualifications
  Award criteria are selected from the following areas:
Leadership
Involvement in the chapter’s programs and activities
Positive relationships with fellow officers
Enthusiasm for the society’s mission and values
Distinguished Chapter Officer Award nomination form
Award Evaluation Process
These awards are presented during Convo years. All applications must be at KDP Headquarters by May 15. All award applicants will be notified of the outcome by August 1.
Award Presentation
This award will be presented at the Biennial Convocation.  If the officer is not present at Convocation to receive the award, the award will be given to a chapter representative or mailed to the chapter after the conference.
