Phoenix Award

“The phoenix hope, can wing her way through the desert skies, and still defying fortune’s spite; revive from ashes and rise.” —Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra

Award Information

Created in 2008, the Phoenix Award will first be presented to chapters for the 2009-2011 biennium. The award recognizes those chapters that have taken significant action to improve their overall level of effectiveness in chapter management and programming as defined by chapter model expectations. To be considered for this award a chapter must document areas of chapter operation that required improvement, steps taken to accomplish change, and how the chapter demonstrated improvement to meet or exceed the criteria for their selected chapter model. Award applications are due May 15, 2011. The Phoenix will be awarded at Convocation to all chapters that qualify.
