Kappa Delta Pi is proud to present a second tier to our Teacher of Honor Recognition Program to honor master practicing teachers who demonstrate outstanding commitment to continuous professional growth and integrity in the classroom.

Could you become a Master Teacher of Honor?

A Master Teacher of Honor holds a Master’s Degree and has 15 or more years of PreK–16 teaching experience and meets 15 of the 34 academic and leadership criteria.

Master Teachers of Honor are awarded on a rolling basis throughout the year. Applicants must be current, active, renewed, or new members of Kappa Delta Pi who meet the designated criteria.
Master Teachers of Honor receive a pin and framed certificate, and their school administrator receives a letter of recognition and a certificate.
