Ace of the ACE criteria

The Ace of the ACE Award was instituted in the 2001–2003 biennium to recognize one chapter in the Kappa Delta Pi network that truly exemplifies the ideals of the Society. Every ACE-winning chapter was considered for this special award; however, selection was based on the chapter’s accomplishments over-and-above the ACE criteria.

The Gamma Zeta Chapter at The College of New Jersey was awarded the second Ace of the ACE Award during Convocation in Orlando, FL on November 5, 2005.

The ACE judges noted these accomplishments:
The chapter grew and increased activity each year, and is a positive force in the community.
The chapter programming is unique and grew each year.
The chapter is a top fund-raiser. Over the past biennium, they raised more than $7,500 for local charities.
The students and officers are the driving force behind the chapter’s success.

In fact, after being notified that the chapter had won an ACE Award, the chapter counselor contacted Headquarters to indicate how happy he was—not only because of the recognition, but also because of the validation it gave to the members who run the chapter. This chapter’s responsiveness to Headquarters is outstanding. Anytime suggestions or input is needed, they are there to serve.
