Program: All-Campus Barbecue
Chapter: Chi Delta Chapter at Lander University, SC
Level: Advanced

Materials:
• Reserve an on-campus area to host the barbecue, consider seating arrangements, and work with the university to coordinate.
• Set prices, or work with the university student dining services so on-campus students can use their meal vouchers toward eating at the barbecue.
• Promote the barbecue all over campus (dorms, student union, newspaper, Web site, bulletin boards, classroom announcements).
• Gather supplies needed: Grill, cooking utensils, paper products, food and drinks, change box for sale, and decorations.
• Have members sign up for different jobs (cook, server, sales table, clean up, stock person). Make sure you have enough people at all times.

Add a Twist:
• Have Kappa Delta Pi recruitment materials and flyers around to give the chapter visibility.
• Sell raffle tickets at the sale table and give a prize away every half hour.
• Make it a theme: Hawaiian, Graduation Party, or any decade.
