Recruitment
Easy

Program: Every Member Get a Member
Level: Easy
Materials:
Paper or a spreadsheet to track the contacts
Pen or pencil
Kappa Delta Pi brochures or chapter information
Chapter application or new initiate information form

How To:
1. At a regular membership meeting, inspire members to recruit friends and associates who are not yet members.
2. Have members invite their friends and associates to an orientation meeting, led by the chapter officers, to learn more about KDP and the chapter.
3. Supply potential members with membership materials and an application—either a chapter application or the new initiate information form from Headquarters. Clarify to whom the application for membership anf payment should be returned, and note the need to participate in initiation.
4. Track the contacts that members make by recording members’ names, the names of friends and associates, the date of contact, and the individuals’ level of interest in membership and spreadsheet. Also note which potential members attended the orientation, if one was held.
5. Have members or an officer follow up with each friend and associate by phone to thank them for their interest in KDP and to answer questions. If the individual is not interested in membership at this time, welcome their feedback regarding future membership into KDP.
6. Initiate potential members who are interested in KDP.

Add a Twist:
Provide incentives or hold a recognition program for members who recruit new members.
