Program: Holiday Gift Wrapping

Chapter: Upsilon Alpha Chapter at Avila University, MO
Level: Moderate

Materials:
• Table
• Gift-wrapping paper
• Scissors
• Tape
• Bows/ribbon
• Checklists and registration sheets for guests
• Extra cash for change
• Tickets or numbers

How To:
1. Arrange for a strategic location, preferably one with heavy customer traffic, to hold the gift wrapping.
2. Establish one day or a week to offer the service.
3. Ask members to sign up to volunteer during established time slots.
4. Determine the amounts to charge for this service. Set one standard fee or multiple fees for different sizes of gifts. Alternately, take donations in place of the set fee.
5. Create fliers to advertise the service; mail and post throughout the community.
6. Complete the event on-site by providing each guest with a ticket or number for their gift wrapping. Guests turn in the ticket or number to retrieve their wrapped gifts.

Add a Twist:
• Provide guests with fliers, materials, or a calendar of events promoting KDP.
• Offer a drop-off option so that guests may shop and return when the gift wrapping is complete.
