Program: Raffle for Teacher Test
Level: Easy
Materials:
• Chairperson for the event
• Funds available to pay for a State Teacher Test (PRAXIS, LAST, etc.)
• Raffle tickets
• Marketing materials

How to:
1. Choose who will chair this event.
2. Treasurer must check to make sure funds are available to offer.
3. Set date for raffle to begin and end.
4. Market raffle: flyers, Web site, newsletter, word of mouth, etc.
5. Sell tickets for $____ ($2—$3).
6. Draw the winners name and announce who won the day after the deadline.
7. When that person applies for their exam the chapter is responsible for the fee of that particular test, have them request the fees from the chapter. Until then, give them a written statement.
8. Request feedback from members about the project.
