• Students reflected on what they had learned in science during the year and chose a particular topic about which to write.
• Students typed their work in a word processing template.
• Students drew a picture to accompany their writing. The pictures were scanned and inserted into their document.
• All student writings were printed and assembled into a hardback book. Each student and teacher received a copy.
• Extra copies of the books were donated to the school library.
