Theme: Jump on the Rowan Reading Railroad
• All aspects of the event had a railroad/train theme.
• The K–5 students who came to the event participated in three stations:
  • A read-aloud station (readers were KDP members)
  • A crafts station (students made crafts related to specific books)
  • A Readers’ Theater
• Parents also were invited to the event. Pizza and drinks were served to students and parents.
• All students received two books to take home.
