Theme: Reading: It Takes a Village

• Members held a bake sale and solicited book donations from faculty and staff members.
• Books were delivered to Children’s Village West, a local daycare. Time was spent sharing the new books with eager young readers, young mothers, and the school’s staff. Chapter members read to infants to pre-kindergarten children.
• One of the daycare’s early childhood faculty members, who also is a KDP member, spent 30 hours during the spring semester reading to approximately 63 children.
