• KDP students presented lessons on using art/pictures to tell a story at two schools.
  • Introduction of book (Dear Tooth Fairy or Just Big Enough) and walk-through of pictures in it.
  • Discussion/questions about the plot, characters, etc. from the book based on the picture walk-through.
  • Read aloud.
  • Assess students’ predictions from picture walk.
  • Class divided into groups and assigned stories.
  • Students illustrated the story assigned to them. Their artwork was bound into a book when everyone was finished.
