• Four themed centers were set up in the campus library: an aquarium, a beach, an ocean, and Antarctica.
• A different book was read at each center, and the children were guided through a take-home activity.
• While the children visited the centers, parents browsed through the library. They also were given a handout on the importance of reading to children.
• A goodie bag was given to each child, along with two books related to the centers they visited.
