• Each chapter member donated two children’s books and recorded the books onto a CD.
• For a week, members read to and played games with children whose families use the Family Food Center.
• A celebration was held on the last day. Cloth tote bags, decorated with drawings related to children’s books, that included a book, bookmark, and CD were given to each child. A puppet show of The Giving Tree was performed.
