This chapter held four RIFevents.
• Book drive—books were donated to the local YMCA
• Volunteering at the YMCA—Four stations were set up in the YMCA. There were two read alouds, one craft area, and a relay race and snack station
• Professional development workshop—A workshop was held for future teachers, with a focus on interactive drama and in-process drama.
• Hunger banquet—Each participant was assigned a place in society upon entering: lower class, middle class, and upper class. Food was served accordingly. A discussion followed the meal.
