Read-a-thon
• Chapter members read to preschoolers, school children, special needs students, and elders in nursing homes in the community.
• Readers received a Certificate of Appreciation. Participants were given RIF bookmarks with suggestions about what to read and how to contribute to the chapter’s book donation drive.

Book Donation
• A book donation box, decorated with artwork drawn by local elementary school students, was placed in the lobby of the Education Building.
• Books were donated to a shelter which serves women and children who are victims of family violence.
