Starting a KDP Chapter

COLLEGIATE CHAPTERS
Bring distinction and recognition to your campus. The mission of Kappa Delta Pi is to support educators and recognize scholarship and excellence in education. A local chapter provides qualified students, faculty, and administrators opportunities for:
professional development;
service learning; and
leadership.

Requirements for collegiate chapters include:
Completed application form:
Education program accredited by a national or regional organization;
A minimum total enrollment of 1,000 students; and
A minimum of 150 students in education.

If your campus meets these requirements, please download and complete the appropriate New Chapter Application. The approval process takes about three months. If you have questions about the application or approval process, contact mcs@kdp.org.





PROFESSIONAL CHAPTERS
Thank you for your interest in starting a Professional Chapter of Kappa Delta Pi! Professional members in your community will benefit through added prestige and access to a network of top educators and educational programs.

Requirements for professional chapters include:
completed application form;
a letter from the prospective Professional Chapter’s designated counselor and associate
counselor affirming their support of a chapter for professional members in
the community;
a one-time installation fee of $200.00, or a list of 20 charter members and an initiation fee of $35.00 each for every charter member who is not currently a member.

Kappa Delta Pi’s Chalk Talk Café is the newest way for professional Kadelpians to connect after graduation. Wouldn’t you like to meet with other committed educators to share ideas
