Graduation Reminders

Please remind all your graduating chapter members to update their contact information (address, e-mail, name changes) via the KDP Web Portal so they are sure to continue getting all their KDP benefits and services! Let them know that continuing in KDP after graduation enhances their professional involvement.

Officer, Phoenix and Rising Star Award Applications Due May 15

Does your chapter have an officer who has gone above and beyond his/her duties? Nominate him/her for the Distinguished Chapter Officer Award. Was your chapter reduced to ashes once, but now is flourishing? Check out the new Phoenix Award for Chapter Improvement. New chapter? Apply for the Rising Star Award. Important Chapter Operations Reminders:

Chapter Officers
If your chapter is one of the many that completes elections in the spring semester, please remember to update your officer report within two weeks of the election, following these instructions.

Year-End Summary
This report, due from all chapters by June 1st, is available on the KDP Web site for chapters to complete.

Initiations and Paperwork
As you may be aware, Kappa Delta Pi bylaws require chapters to hold an initiation each fiscal year (July 1-June 30). If you haven't had an initiation yet, we imagine that you are already planning this event, but if not, you still have time to host an initiation before the end of the fiscal year. Keep in mind that chapters that do not conduct an initiation and send all required paperwork to Headquarters put themselves at risk for Probation. Please remember that all paperwork is due within two weeks of the initiation ceremony.
