Spring Initiations In the next few months many chapters will host spring initiations. As you start planning for this event, think of ideas to make this a meaningful experience for members. Need ideas? Check out the Initiation Guidebook online.

and list two-year members on the second sheet.

Chapter Rebate Policy
Chapters are asked to deposit their rebate check as soon as possible. We will re-issue rebate checks upon request within 1 year of the original issue date. If checks are not cashed within the 1-year time frame, all money is forfeited. a. If KDP Headquarters does not receive the original check: i. The chapter will be required to pay $25.00 for a stop-payment fee, plus a $5.00 administrative processing fee. ii. Original check amount must be $35.00 or more to be re-issued.
b. If Headquarters receives the original check: i. The chapter will be required to pay $5.00 for the administrative processing fee. ii. Original check amount must be $10.00 or more to be re-issued.

Two Months Left to Meet the Chapter Challenge! TOGETHER, WE WILL REACH OUR GOAL.
The KDP Educational Foundation has challenged each chapter to raise at least $150 by May 12, 2011 to help support the Foundation's programs, such as scholarships, classroom teacher grants, Literacy Alive! grants, and professional development opportunities.
