Our Star Chapters!Southeast Best and Brightest -

Under the vision, "KDP is not just an honor cord; it's an adventure!" the Rho Phi chapter of Troy University at Phenix City is well deserving of its Phoenix Award for Chapter Improvement!
Having finished the chapter's Literacy Alive! project for the 11-12 academic year, members are already hot on the heels of planning the 12-13 academic year's program.

The chapter provides books for underprivileged students in the community and further works with the parents providing workshops on literacy so they can assist their children in reading comprehension! Within the chapter, they have increased membership and retention by 425% over the last three years! Their outstanding leadership and chapter programming has certainly had a positive impact on their campus and in their community.

Spring Membership Tip -

As you gear up for Spring initiations, the CS team would like to remind you about KDP's honorary memberships. Honorary membership is for those people in your community who have contributed to education but do not otherwise meet the qualifications for membership. Regardless of position or occupation, it is important to recognize and honor those that have had an impact in the field of education. If you have questions about Honorary Members, refer to Article VI Section 1.6 in our Bylaws or contact your RCC.

Welcome chapter initiates!

Chapter Services Changes -
This month, Kappa Delta Pi will be transitioning to a new database.  With this transition, there will be additional capacity for on-line access and submission of information. Soon we will introduce the online submission of new initiate information. With the online submission there will be no need for the carbon copy forms or the excel spreadsheet. If you recently held an initiation and have not yet submitted your initiation forms, it is imperative that they are received at headquarters as soon as possible so they can be entered before the transition.

More information and training opportunities will be available throughout the semester with the launch of the new database. Our primary goal is to provide you with the tools and resources necessary for the transition to go smoothly. Thank you in advance for your attention to the changes taking place and your patience as we move forward.
