Reminders from Headquarters -

Thank you for your patience as we transition to the online initiation spreadsheet. If you have not used this process, please see the updated instructions and helpful tips on the KDP website . These updated instructions are important in getting initiates processed immediately. Please use the spreadsheet as it is set up, without making any changes to the columns, because this spreadsheet imports into our database. Help us streamline this process and submit the spreadsheet as instructed. If you have any questions, please contact your RCC or call (800) 284-3167.

It's a new biennium for KDP, and that means every chapter must submit a signed Chapter Model Agreement! You can find the agreement and model descriptions in the manage your chapter section of KDP Online.

Please remember that KDP Headquarters is closed Thursday, Nov. 24 and Friday, Nov. 25 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. Headquarters reopens Monday, Nov. 28.

Star ChapterNortheast Best and Brightest - Kudos to the chapter officers from University of Maine (Gamma Omicron), Mercyhurst College (Alpha Beta Pi), and Plymouth State University (Lambda Alpha) for attending Convo! These chapters had the opportunity to learn from all of the healthy chapters from the Northeast region to further grow their own chapters.

KDP Connect - If you attended Convo, remember to log onto KDP Connect  and look at Three Things to Try, Just-in-Time Resources, Grow as You Teach courses, and the toolboxes either in the Preservice (for student teachers and beginning teachers) or the Leader sections. Then take the survey to be in the running for an iPad2 or $100. You'll find log-on information for KDP Connect and the survey in What's New on the main page. Tip for faculty members: KDP Connect can be paid for as a lab fee and used as a digital resource in your class. It's also a great way to help and interact with student teachers.
