March 8, 2011 is our 100th anniversary! Need some help planning an event for Founder's Day? Take a look at our Founder's Day Web section.
In celebration of our Centennial, we are offering a Centennial Essay Contest. The topic of the essay is
So to Teach, So to Serve, So to Live: The Past, Present, and Future of Education and Teaching. We want to read what our members think about how education changed in the 20th century and how it will evolve in the 21st century.
The three essay categories to be judged are: 1) undergraduate and graduate students; 2) PreK-12 practicing educators; and 3) university faculty members and PreK-16 educational administrators.
Winners in each category will be rewarded in several ways, including free registration to Convo 2011! To be eligible for entry in the contest, essays must be electronically submitted
or mailed to Kappa Delta Pi (3707 Woodview Trace, Indianapolis, IN 46268) and postmarked by January 31, 2011.
