Don't forget! We have communicated with chapters several times now as a reminder to complete the Officer Report and to include the Initiation Cover Sheet with EACH new member packet sent to Headquarters. Remember, these items must be completed within two weeks following the election or initiation. Questions? Contact your RCC!

100 Monetary Awards Available in 2011 for Literacy Alive!
KDP's Signature Community Outreach Initiative

Receiving $20,000 from Tom's of Maine for KDP's 2011 Literacy Alive! program makes a huge difference in the number of awards available for projects this year! Projects by chapters and professional members are eligible to receive a $200 monetary award - just be sure to register your project by December 3, 2010 to be considered.

Upon finishing a project or event, participants must fill out the Completion Report to be eligible for one of the 100 awards, which are in celebration of KDP's Centennial. In keeping with the theme, 100 for the 100th, The Educational Foundation plans to give up to 100 Literacy Alive! awards in 2011. Honor the Centennial by encouraging lifelong learning in your community.

• The Alpha Alpha Beta Chapter at Niagara University in Niagara, New York (Chapter #602) is celebrating 10 years on November 9th

Make sure your officers are receiving The Leader! To receive this essential KDP information, officers must be listed on the Officer Report through the Web Portal. If necessary, please forward The Leader to the appropriate officers.
