Literacy Alive! is Changing! Kappa Delta Pi chose Literacy Alive! as the national community service project. We know you do great events in your communities and we want to share the news. This year, KDP will start a resource bank of highlighting all of the great events and programs across the country and the globe. And thanks to your votes, Literacy Alive! is one of the five finalists in the
Tom's of Maine Campaign 50 States for Good. With funds from this campaign, Literacy Alive! can reach even greater heights and more people.
So watch the Web and KDP newsletters for updated guidelines, program ideas, and the application. Until then, revisit 2010 and
2009 events to kindle ideas for your chapter's project and add these deadlines to your calendar: Dec. 3: Register your chapter to participate in Literacy Alive! April 1: Complete you Literacy event or project. April 15: Submit a Completion Report about your project or event.
