Prepare for the Convo Business Meeting

Counselors and Chapter Delegates must review proposed bylaw changes for voting at the business meeting on Friday, October 30, 10 a.m.-Noon. Review them now and share with your chapter members. Note: All chapters must complete a Delegate and Alternate Certification of Election Form. Please submit the completed forms-with required signatures-to Headquarters no later than October 5, 2009. Remember that delegates and their alternates must be current on annual dues.

Are you interested in learning about education in other countries? Want to meet international teachers and administrators? If you are coming to Convo 2009 and want a chance to interact with some of our international guests, send your name, chapter, and position to membership@kdp.org. We'll be in touch soon to let you know more details about special international events at Convo!

Regional Leadership Conferences will be on Saturdays from 9am - 5pm at one campus in each region during Spring and Summer 2010. Dates and locations will be announced in October/November. Learn more at the Regional Meetings during Convo 2009. Attend the Leadership Workshop to get a taste of the program content and to meet one of the creators of the curriculum!

Important Chapter Reminders:
• The Chapter Planning Report is due October 1! Fill out your report today.
• Fall Packets were sent in the middle of September. If you have not received yours, please e-mail mcs@kdp.org or call Headquarters for a replacement.
• Thank you to chapters that have filed their 2008-2009 Annual Financial Report. See the list as of 9/23/09!

Happy Anniversary to the Alpha Beta Pi Chapter (640), at Mercyhurst College in Erie, PA, who celebrated 5 years as a KDP chapter on September 24th!

 

Congrats to two newly installed chapters: Alpha Epsilon Omicron Chapter (811), at Campbellsville University in Campbellsville, KY on September 27th and The City University of Hong Kong Professional Chapter (751), in Kowloon Tong, Hong Kong on September 22nd!
