Celebration of Teaching
Celebration of Teaching is Kappa Delta Pi’s newest Signature Service Initiative. This new program encourages KDP members to support current teachers, cultivate future teachers, and advocate for our profession.
Our popular, educational webinars continue to grow with exceptional presenters, relevant topics, and multichannel accessibility for educators. Webinar topics are developed to appeal to all levels of educators. Average attendance is 200 for each webinar, with significant growth projected for 2019.
Sponsorship of all webinars for 1 academic year
(approximately 30 webinars): $7,500
Additional sponsorship levels begin at $500.
Classroom Teacher Grants
KDP believes that a teacher’s effectiveness has the greatest impact on students’ achievement and learning. As part of our efforts to provide members with tools to be more effective educators, KDP offers Classroom Teacher Grants. These grants provide members who are practicing teachers with funds to support specific programs or classroom supplies. Each fall, grants of $150 each are available to practicing Pre-K–12 educators. Partners are needed to grow the impact of this program by increasing the number of grant awards offered.
Education for Sustainable Development (ESD)
KDP’s ESD initiative seeks to integrate the principles, values, and practices of sustainable development into all aspects of education and learning, in order to address the social, economic, cultural, and environmental issues faced in the 21st century. Programming partnerships include the United Nations and the U.S. Partnership for Teaching for Sustainable Development. We are seeking collaborative partners to assist with project development and dissemination.
You are invited to take advantage of this special opportunity to become engaged with education’s leaders as they converge on Indianapolis for professional development, networking, and celebration. KDP's 53rd conference provides a great occasion for you to network directly with potential customers and clients. Sponsorship, exhibitor, and advertising opportunities are available. KDP members are encouraged to pledge support to underwrite the travel for student members to attend Convo 2019. Assistance with registration and travel fees will result in new opportunities for professional development, networking, and KDP engagement for these young members.
